Happiness

  Happiness is such a bliss isn’t it? Feeling those hormonal rushes and having a big smile on your face all the time can be a treat. Where does this happiness come from? Prolly a good incident, some fun time,   good conversations or just being with a loved one. Let’s get back to reality what actually makes us happy? Are we happy round the clock? Is it right to expect happiness all along this journey called life? Definitions of happiness change over time. Don’t they? What made us happy earlier may not affect us anymore now. It’s dependent on external situations. These situations constantly change. So does our happiness.  Often it’s external sources and other people who control our moods and to some extent our lives as well. We end up giving our life’s control into wrong hands too in some cases- broken trust, which doesn’t let one trust anyone ever again. Imagine getting all that you asked for on one side only to realise later that it’s not something  meant for you. While on the other hand getting lost to gaining extraordinary experiences and finding your true calling. What would you choose?   We expect miracles to happen and everything to become perfect, just according to our wishes. Certain notions exist in our minds and everything must go according to them. Although we may not really know what’s truly right for us. Limited experience of life and minimal influences create impressions on our mind there by shape our thinking patterns. Any deviation from these breaks us. Okay that’s one extreme but it definitely ruins one’s morale. Sometimes one wants to leave everything and give up. It’s as if life is only around that one dream, person, relationship or venture.  Seeing loved ones in pain also creates deep craters in one’s heart and mind breaking the spirit.
