My Angel!

Once upon a time in childhood ,we all imagined a fantasy world with tooth fairies, princesses, princes, wizards, angels and what not.Stories where everything was soughed in the end ‘and they lived happily ever after.’

As children we were innocent enough to believe that Santa Claus was coming on Christmas, to rewards us with a bunch of goodies. The excitement and limitless thrill that enlivened our hearts was priceless.

The curiosity, fun and sparkle in the eyes of a child to unpack those gifts would overwhelm the parents and give a purpose to their stressful day and the never ending struggle of life.

What changes as we grow up?
We begin to face reality and learn the bitter truth of life?
Experiences , lessons and heartbreaks begin to define the meaning of life for us. We become bold, courageous and mean?

Mean to ourselves I would say. We stop believing in the magic of life? It’s great to learn lessons, have numerous enlightening experiences in life and become a better version of yourself each day. But is it fair to let these situations embitter our hearts?
Shake our trust and destroy our hope?
Is it right to lose control over yourself each time you face a harsh situation?

“Yourself”
 - it’s me who knows myself the best. It’s me who has to undergo pain and learn a lesson out of it. People are there to support me but I have to work on myself. If I am not interested in myself how on earth can someone else help me. God also would wonder how to!

Taking the least interest in myself and letting the external environment control my condition does the worst by destroying ‘me’ and hurting my soul.

Looking for someone to light up your mood, someone to take interest in you, a person or an angel to give you what you want ? Is this needed? It is right to on a hunt for the right person to do all this?
I frankly don’t know. But one ‘other’ person definitely can’t do all this. It’ll be a huge burden cause it’s actually difficult to know every detail of what one needs and when. Most importantly to fully satisfy someone else all the time.

Now there are amazing species on planet called friends and family -these people try to make life easy and beautiful but they also have limitations. Can’t be around every time for obvious reasons. They can share the load, feel you but it’s you who can help yourself.

You are your own angel. Do something wonderful for yourself. Make yourself proud, love yourself and bring a smile on your face. Your life, your peace and your happiness is your responsibility. Only you can satisfy yourself like no one else and know what you need at the very moment .

Now as we grow older ,we forget ourselves and start defining our life with external factors and environments.

Just because someone is upset with me ,my mental peace is gone as I am now more worried about the other person. I am overthinking and imagining all the infinite possibilities which may not even exist. As long as I know my intention and current situation I shouldn’t bother too much?

If someone loves you and cares about you he/she will come back. If not now then later.
Just don’t change yourself for that person. I think I need to implement this more than anyone else.

In life we meet hundreds of people, if each person begins to shake the foundation of the true person we are ,then over a span of few years we won’t know who we were or who we are?
Missing yourself is extremely harsh. Trust me.

By this I don’t mean we stop improving ourselves. Each day it’s better, to be better than the previous day. But changing yourself just for someone else to like you is a sin. As long as you recognise your loopholes and improvise nothing else is needed. That’s self development.

Mind you this can do wonders. Try and make yourself happy! Do something special for yourself and pamper yourself. I bet you, you’ll see the child like sparkle in your eyes. The child within will celebrate. The people around will be inspired and life will become magical. Happiness that comes from within can never be eclipsed.

Let’s appreciate ,love and enliven the child within.
Happiness is not a destination but a way of life. It’s your life and solely your choice.

I want to believe in magic, the magic of MYSELF and the magic of LIFE!
Do you want to?
