Happiness
Happiness is such a bliss isn’t it?
Feeling those hormonal rushes and having a big smile on your face all the time can be a treat. Where does this happiness come from? Prolly a good incident, some fun time,
good conversations or just being with a loved one.
Let’s get back to reality what actually makes us happy? Are we happy round the clock? Is it right to expect happiness all along this journey called life?
Definitions of happiness change over time. Don’t they? What made us happy earlier may not affect us anymore now. It’s dependent on external situations. These situations constantly change. So does our happiness.
Often it’s external sources and other people who control our moods and to some extent our lives as well. We end up giving our life’s control into wrong hands too in some cases- broken trust, which doesn’t let one trust anyone ever again. Does this mean no one is trustworthy?
We begin to define life according to our surroundings. That becomes the reality for us. Our moods to change according to these surroundings.
I don’t mean we have to be happy all day and not be affected by anything around but there’s probably a limit to this. If every incident breaks us and every other person who doesn’t deserve our attention affects us then things are going wrong somewhere.
Things get difficult at times everything seems to come to an end but there’s always light at the end of the tunnel.
As long as external sources define our inner state of being our lives would not be ours. There’s no one who has never made a mistake. Guilt can hit hard but as long as we don’t let it decide our future we’re definitely on the right path.
