A tough choice!

Every accomplishment, person or result in life has a process or journey preceding it, isn’t it? Now given a choice between experiencing the whole journey to reach this destination vs ‘the final destination has arrived’ what would you choose?

Seems like a simple choice, why take trouble when there’s an ‘anywhere door’?! But let’s make this a difficult one…

It all starts with where does one want to go? What’s your aim? Is it a University, a career, a person, an exam, a consequence of peer pressure or just footsteps of your inspirational idol. Is it good to have an idol? Well that’s a completely different story, for some other day!

Once a destination is determined, we start attempting to work towards achieving it. Assuming it’s achieved, there’s no motivation to move forward towards something else? Or rather a short term of aimlessness prevails until another aim is found. Why not aim for the ultimate then?

Going back in time, before achieving what one would’ve always wanted. If at all, it was given in a silver platter, would we enjoy it as much as we would if we were to struggle for it? Debatable.
If the word ‘struggle’ is replaced with living an experience to the fullest, then the choice is definitely a difficult one...

We all have that one incident, to illustrate some of the most precious lessons life has in store for each one of us. This was mine. Something I would’ve always wanted to study, but didn’t know if it was my true calling. Yet, after a series of events, there you stand with what you would’ve loved to cherish as a true engineer!

The process was incredible, let alone the joy after so much uncertainty and no expectations at all. Meeting some people, with just few hours of interaction and yet a creation of remarkable bonds. These, opening new doors of  opportunities with more valuable encounters to come…

Sometimes a breaking point is reached and I do agree these experiences can get bitter. Even the destination ‘seems’ embittered and worthless. But the brighter side would be finding some angels within yourself and your surroundings who would truly mean a treasure to celebrate for a lifetime. Connections that keep getting stronger after each passing thunder…
Friends... that become family. 🥰

With that wisdom, support and confidence aren’t we prepared for more challenging voyages to come? Now that one destination doesn’t seem to matter as much… Falling in love with the process seems beautiful, doesn’t it? What if love itself was also a process?

Besides it’s important to know how to dive when there’s ocean gate and you don’t know where the titanic lies! 😔
Skills that could possibly take you to the deep Mariana trench too! :p

To those excursions that never seem to end,
but deep down are getting more breathtaking as we pretend to escape,
Every second is worth adoring on this cruise,
As what’s yours and meant to be will ultimately make it’s way to you! ❤️
